However, it is important to note that the meeting may transition into a closed session, as authorized by Wisconsin State Statute sec. 19.85(1)(e). This statute allows for closed sessions when the committee is deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public properties or the investing of public funds, or conducting other business that falls under the statute’s purview.
