A quiet Thursday in Angleton saw the Brazoria County Sheriff's Office responding to a variety of calls, ranging from minor disturbances to more serious investigations. While the full details of each incident are still under investigation, the Sheriff's Office released a brief blotter detailing the day’s activities.

One notable call involved a reported disturbance on North Velasco Street. Deputies responded to a residence following complaints of loud music and a possible altercation. Upon arrival, officers mediated a dispute between neighbors regarding noise levels. No arrests were made, but both parties were advised on noise ordinance regulations and agreed to keep the peace.

Later in the day, deputies were dispatched to a local business on East Mulberry Street following a report of a suspected theft. Store employees reported that an individual had allegedly left the premises without paying for merchandise.
